Montenegro on high alert — Police issue urgent statement
The Montenegrin Ministry of Internal Affairs has offered a €500,000 reward for information that would directly lead to the location, identification and arrest of Radoje Zvicer (42), who is the subject of an Interpol Red Notice.
The reward applies to information that could lead to the location and arrest of Radoje Zvicer, who is the subject of an international warrant on suspicion of committing the following criminal offenses:
- Establishing a criminal organization
- Aggravated murder
- Murder
- Aggravated murder by incitement
- Attempted murder by incitement
- Unauthorized production, possession and trafficking of narcotic drugs
- Illegal possession of weapons and explosives
- Money laundering
Information will be considered credible if it cumulatively meets the following conditions: it contains accurate and verifiable data enabling the person to be located and arrested; it directly contributes to police operational activities; and it is decisive for the successful arrest.
To enable direct, confidential and institutionally protected communication, information must be submitted in person exclusively to the Director of the Police Administration and/or the Assistant Director responsible for combating crime and/or the Head of the Special Police Department.
The submission must be announced in advance to arrange an in-person meeting, using the telephone numbers provided by the Montenegrin Police Administration.
Who is eligible for the reward
The decision on whether to pay the reward, based on the assessment and verification of the information provided, will be made by the Government of Montenegro, at the proposal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, taking into account the principle of fairness.
The information about the person providing the tip, including their identity, will be fully protected.
The reward is not available to anyone who already had access to information in the possession of the Police Administration, police officers and their immediate family members, or anyone who in any way participated in the commission of the criminal offenses for which the international warrant was issued.
The Police Administration is calling on citizens who have relevant and verifiable information that could help locate and arrest internationally wanted individual Radoje Zvicer to submit it to the competent authorities in accordance with the prescribed procedure.
