Police searched the apartment and offices of Veselin Milić

By order of Higher Court in Belgrade, officers of Criminal Police Directorate conducted a search of the apartment and official premises of former head of the Belgrade Police Department, suspect Veselin Milić, Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade said.

Public prosecutors from the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade were present during the search.

Veselin Milić is one of the suspects in an investigation being conducted by the prosecutor’s office against a total of 11 individuals over the criminal offense of aggravated murder committed against A.N. at the restaurant “27” on May 12.

The former head of the Belgrade Police Department is charged with failure to report a criminal offense and its perpetrator, as well as aiding an offender after the commission of a criminal act.
