Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is attending a series of bilateral meetings with heads of delegations from countries participating in this year’s Commemorative Meeting, dedicated to marking 65th anniversary of the 1st conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met with Sodik Safoyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at the Palace of Serbia.
“My first official visit to Uzbekistan in 2025 marked a historic turning point in our bilateral relations, and we look forward with great joy to welcoming President and friend Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Belgrade. His visit will be an opportunity to further strengthen our cooperation, particularly in the areas of the economy and investment, and to create favorable conditions for concrete joint projects,” Vučić said.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić also met with Khalida Boufdesh, President of the Parliament of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, ahead of this year’s Commemorative Meeting marking the 65th anniversary of the first conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.
Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djurić also attended the meeting.

Meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Mozambique
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Mozambique Maria Benvinda Levi.
“Serbia and Mozambique have maintained diplomatic relations for more than half a century, but the friendship between our peoples predates the establishment of official ties. We particularly value Mozambique’s independent policy, and we view our cooperation as one of the most significant on the African continent,” Vučić wrote in an Instagram post following the meeting.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić held talks with Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar and head of the delegation of the United Republic of Tanzania.
“I thanked Tanzania for confirming its participation in EXPO 2027. This will be an excellent opportunity for Tanzania to showcase its rich culture, traditions, music, tourism potential and development opportunities, while also bringing our peoples even closer together,” Vučić said.
