He thanked those present for coming to greet the guest and addressed the Chinese president:

"I told President Xi that as the leader of a great power, he will be met with respect and admiration everywhere in the world, but nowhere will he meet such respect and such love as here in Serbia," said Vučić.

"Thank you for coming to greet a great friend of Serbia," said the Serbian president to the gathered citizens.
