Over the weekend and at the beginning of next week, temperatures are expected to rise again to around and above 35°C.

The high temperatures across Serbia will also be accompanied by a lack of rainfall, with the period of high risk of wildfires starting and spreading in open areas expected to continue. The heat and dry conditions could also have adverse effects on public health, as well as critical infrastructure, traffic, transport, tourism, agriculture, livestock farming and other socioeconomic sectors dependent on weather conditions.
