Trump was seen boarding an aircraft on July 8, but according to The Washington Post, he was subsequently transferred into a catering cart, which is normally used to load food and beverages.

Trump publicly stated at the time that he would not fly on the “Air Force One” aircraft gifted to him by Qatar, saying he was sending it to a base in the United Kingdom so that military personnel could inspect it.

ABC News reported at the time that Trump had been advised not to fly on the aircraft for security reasons due to the escalating conflict with Iran.

On the aircraft believed to be carrying Trump, journalists were told that the windows had to remain closed throughout the flight at the direction of the Secret Service.

Trump was later seen in the United Kingdom walking down the steps of the old aircraft and boarding the aircraft gifted to him by Qatar.

It is unclear how he returned to the aircraft.

When he boarded the “Air Force One” aircraft for his return to the United States, Trump spoke to reporters and responded, “No, no,” when asked whether there were any security concerns regarding the switch between aircraft.
