Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the latest U.S. military strikes on Iran, calling them a clear violation of the country’s national sovereignty.

At the same time, Tehran issued a dramatic warning to all Middle Eastern countries hosting U.S. troops, saying they could become targets if the attacks are repeated.

In response, Iran has already launched airstrikes on targets in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan.

In an official statement, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said its forces had already inflicted significant damage on U.S. military infrastructure in the region.

“Iran’s armed forces have dealt major blows to U.S. bases and assets in the region that served as the source of these attacks. Iran will not hesitate to directly strike the source of any future attacks,” the statement said.

Iran launched coordinated attacks on Wednesday after the United States carried out strikes on Iranian sites near the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

Washington justified those strikes as retaliation for the earlier downing of a U.S. military Apache helicopter.

Moscow calls on the U.S. and Iran to exercise restraint

Moscow has called on the United States and Iran to show restraint and stressed that attacks on civilian infrastructure are unacceptable, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said today.

“We call on the parties to show restraint and immediately halt military strikes. We remind them of the categorical unacceptability of attacks on civilian infrastructure,” she said at a press briefing, according to RIA Novosti.

She added that Russia remains ready to help facilitate a mutually acceptable negotiated solution to the Iranian conflict.

“We hope that the situation will return to a political and diplomatic track as soon as possible. As before, Russia is ready to assist in identifying and implementing mutually acceptable negotiating solutions,” the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.

The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah said today that it carried out multiple drone and rocket attacks on Israeli forces

The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah said today that it carried out multiple drone and rocket attacks on Israeli forces (IDF), armored vehicles, and command posts across southern Lebanon.

In a statement detailing operations that reportedly took place from Monday evening into Tuesday, Hezbollah said its forces repeatedly targeted Israeli troop camps and armored vehicles in the Lebanese towns of Bijada, Rashaf, al-Kawzah, and Kantara, according to Al Jazeera.

Hezbollah also reported using a surface-to-air missile to intercept an Israeli Hermes 450 drone over Iqlim al-Tuffah, and launching a squadron of explosive drones at the Ras al-Naqoura naval site in the far southwest of Lebanon.

Bahrain said it intercepted a “large number” of Iranian missiles and drones

Bahrain said it intercepted a “large number” of Iranian missiles and drones launched toward its territory, the Bahraini Armed Forces announced on Wednesday.

In an official statement, Bahrain’s defense forces condemned what they described as “Iranian missile and drone attacks on civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain,” calling them a violation of international humanitarian law.

The attacks reportedly came after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) earlier in the day announced it had targeted the U.S. Fifth Fleet stationed in Bahrain. According to footage geolocated by CNN, a flash was observed near the American naval complex in Manama that may be linked to the attack.
