Vučić visits production facility: “You will receive non-refundable funding”

During the tour of the facility, a businessman complained to the Serbian president that everything was being done manually. Vučić told him to speak with Minister Mesarović so that he could receive government subsidies to purchase machinery, with the state providing non-refundable funding.

“Brus is a difficult municipality, a hilly and mountainous area, and it is not easy to get everything done there. But we have to make an effort to help people. We need to help processors get the most favorable loans and non-refundable funding, so that they can in turn help farmers. For fixed assets, they can receive around €42,000, as well as loans from the Development Fund at fixed interest rates of 2–2.5 percent, in dinars — practically free money for anyone who wants to invest in production,” Vučić stressed.

He also asked where the workers were from and wished them success in their work.

Vučić in Brus: “Nearly every village in the municipality will get a paved road”

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is visiting the Čolići Plus organic fruit production company in Brus.

“We have not yet completed the Vignjište water supply project for the municipality of Brus, worth around €2 million, but we will start work very soon, by the end of the year. You will soon see machinery on the ground,” the Serbian president told residents gathered there.

“Roads are important. Before the end of October, we will pave 15 kilometers of roads in the Municipality of Brus, investing 350 million dinars. And now, with more than €3 million, we are investing around €6 million in roads here in total. Almost every village will be included in the road reconstruction,” Vučić announced.

“Every village in the Brus municipality will get a section of paved road, so that no one is left behind,” he stressed.

He said talks had been held with a potential investor and that the factory could be located on the border between Brus and Aleksandrovac.

“I think we can complete that by May next year, and I expect around 200 people to be employed there. We also talked about the Vračar project, which involves a center and resort. That requires €6 million, and we will start work in the second half of next year. We can do that, as well as the sidewalk in Brzeće,” the Serbian president added.

One local resident gave Vučić a bottle of rakija and, while addressing the president, made a slip of the tongue, asking for “a kilo and a half of roads.” “He brought a kilo of rakija and is asking for a kilo and a half of roads,” Vučić joked.

When a local woman invited him to visit her village on the 29th, he said that on that day he would have to open a drone factory.

Responding to residents’ requests for a bridge to be built, the president said that property and legal issues first needed to be resolved.

“It’s not a question of money, so you understand that. Vignjište will cost us €2.5 million. The roads will cost €6 million, that’s how much it will be, even if it takes us two years to complete the resort. Brus can never raise that kind of money. They don’t have it and never will. Here, money is not the problem; that bridge would be a minor expense. The problem is property and legal disputes,” Vučić said.

Vučić warmly thanked the hosts and the children present for the wonderful welcome.

Vučić begins visit to Rasina District

President Aleksandar Vučić began his visit to the Rasina District today by touring the Čolići Plus company in the village of Graševci near Brus, which specializes in the production of organic raspberries and blackberries.

Agriculture Minister Dragan Glamočić, Economy Minister Adrijana Mesarović and Defense Minister Bratislav Gašić are also accompanying the president.

Čolić Plus CLL is a family-owned company from Graševci that produces organic frozen raspberries, blackberries, apples and plums. For years, it has grown fruit on its own plantations and purchased exclusively 100-percent organic raspberries and blackberries from its contracted growers.

The company says it continuously educates its growers on the use of organic, “green” products and fruit cultivation methods. Fruit samples are collected several times during the harvesting season from each individual producer to ensure that the produce meets predefined criteria for organic fruit production.

The company holds certificates confirming its organic production, which it says are the result of its investment and work in producing organic fruit. Its end product and primary goal is IQF organic frozen raspberries.

As part of his visit to the Rasina District, Vučić will also visit the Cvetković Winery in Stanjevo, in the municipality of Aleksandrovac, and inspect construction work on the new Biseri kindergarten in Trstenik.

The itinerary also includes a visit to the Regional Industrial and Technology Park in Kruševac, as well as an inspection of construction work on the Kruševac Veterans’ Home.

Vučić will also visit the Vučetić family household in Parcane, in the municipality of Varvarin, and the Gagić family household in Pločnik, in the municipality of Ćićevac.
