Vučić Visits the Ćupić Family in Palić

At the beginning of his visit, Vučić announced the signing of an agreement with a company that will bring new jobs to Serbia.

In his address, he said that, in addition to roads, a stadium and a hospital, a new investor and a factory are also coming to Palić.

“The competition for Swarovski is no longer an issue — they are staying anyway. Now the competition is for additional investment,” he added.

He then emphasized how pleased he was to visit the Ćupić family, which has six children.

Vučić was also welcomed outside the Ćupić family home by local residents, with whom he will speak. The Ćupić family has eight members: father Nebojša and mother Bojana, along with their six sons — Djurdje, Kuzman, Trifun, Mihajlo, Aleksej and Petar, aged between six and 18. Father Nebojša works at the Student Resort, while mother Bojana is a computer science and IT teacher.

Vučić asked one of the youngest members of the Ćupić family which team he supported. When the boy replied, “Portugal,” the president smiled.

“What Portugal? You support Serbia,” Vučić said with a smile.

During the visit, Vučić also received drawings from the children and did not hide his delight at their creativity and skill.

“Do you go to kindergarten? When are you going to learn how to write? You don't know yet, but there's no need to rush. That's how my little one is when it's time to start school: ‘Oh no, oh no, oh no...’ As if someone were taking him to be tortured, not to school,” Vučić said while talking to the children.

During the meeting, the president asked the family what they needed and how he could help them.

On the occasion, he also thanked Tamara Grujić, host of the TV program Sa Tamarom u akciji (“With Tamara in Action”), who had previously helped the Ćupić family.
