Prime Minister of the People&#39;s Republic of China Li Qiang said today during a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić that China is ready to continue strengthening cooperation with Serbia and act as a partner of mutual friendship, as well as jointly support the interests of both countries and deepen cooperation across various fields.China highly values the fact that this year marks the 10th anniversary of their comprehensive partnership, Li said. He added that in previous years, heads of state have maintained positive and intensive exchanges that enabled strategic guidance and important measures for the development of bilateral relations. Vučić said that Serbia&rsquo;s exports to China increased by 85% in 2026, and that China has offered &ldquo;incredible conditions&rdquo; regarding nuclear energy cooperation.He made the remarks during his official visit to China, where he continues meetings with Chinese leadership, including President Xi Jinping.Aleksandar Vučić said today that Serbia recorded a 20% increase in exports to China in 2025 compared to 2024, and that in the first four months of 2026 exports were nearly 85% higher than in the same period last year.He stated that his talks with Chinese Premier Li Qiang were divided into five areas, with the first focused on the implementation of the Serbia&ndash;China Free Trade Agreement. Vučić spoke from China, where he is on a five-day official visitHe said that Serbia&rsquo;s independent policy is highly valued, and that he will have a meeting lasting more than four hours with President Xi Jinping.Vučić noted that he had very important talks today with Chinese Premier Li Qiang and with Wang Huning, stressing that the meeting with Li Qiang is of exceptional importance.
